Why Coconut Water Should Be Avoided
Coconut water is not toxic but is not recommended for dogs due to its high potassium content. Excessive potassium can cause heart problems in dogs. It also contains natural sugars. Small amounts are unlikely to cause harm, but there is no benefit to giving it to dogs over plain water. Fresh water should always be a dog's primary source of hydration.
