Why It's Dangerous

Hops (Humulus lupulus) used in beer brewing cause a condition called malignant hyperthermia in dogs. Body temperature can spike to fatal levels very rapidly. Both fresh and dried hops are dangerous. Greyhounds and sighthound breeds appear especially susceptible.
