How to Feed Peaches to Your Dog
Fresh peaches are safe and nutritious for dogs, containing vitamins A and C plus fibre. Always remove the pit completely — peach pits contain amygdalin which breaks down into cyanide, and the pit itself is a choking and blockage hazard. Remove the skin if your dog has a sensitive stomach. Only feed fresh peaches — canned peaches in syrup contain too much sugar. One or two slices is an appropriate serving.
