How to Feed Peanut Butter to Your Dog
Peanut butter is a favourite treat for most dogs and can be used to stuff Kong toys or hide medications. CRITICAL: Always check the ingredients label for xylitol (also called birch sugar), which is extremely toxic to dogs. Choose unsalted, unsweetened peanut butter with no additives. Due to its high fat and calorie content, limit to about a tablespoon per day for medium-sized dogs. Natural peanut butter with just peanuts is the safest choice.
