How to Feed Plain Yogurt to Your Dog
Plain, unsweetened yogurt is safe for dogs and provides calcium, protein, and beneficial probiotics. Choose yogurt with no artificial sweeteners — xylitol is extremely toxic. Greek yogurt has more protein and less lactose. Some dogs are lactose intolerant, so start with a small amount and watch for digestive issues. A tablespoon for small dogs or a few tablespoons for large dogs is appropriate. Can be frozen in ice cube trays for a cool treat.
