How to Feed Popcorn to Your Dog
Plain, air-popped popcorn is safe as an occasional treat for dogs. It contains fibre, some B vitamins, and minerals. Never feed buttered, salted, flavoured, or caramel popcorn. Remove unpopped kernels as they can be a choking hazard and can damage teeth. Microwave popcorn is not suitable due to added oils, salt, and chemicals. A small handful of plain popped corn is fine as a treat. Not suitable for small dogs due to choking risk.
